meeting of two personalities is like the contact of
two chemical substances: if there is any reaction,
both are transformed”. C.G.Jung
People
choose to go into therapy for a large number of reasons.
They might be feeling anything from discontent to
desperate. The process of counselling is a journey
of discovery that can help you in a number of ways.
Counselling is sometimes called “the talking cure”
and gives you an opportunity to talk confidentially
to a qualified practitioner, in a safe and confidential
setting.
I
will neither judge nor advise you. My role is to help
you make sense of your thoughts and feelings. I can
help you examine situations and relationships that
are proving troublesome, to locate the source of difficulty
and examine options for coping.
I offer therapy for wide range of issues including depression, panic attacks, self-esteem, stress, bereavement, loss, addiction and relationship problems.
I
am happy to see young people, individual adults, or
couples on a face-to-face basis for long or short
term work.
